Independent Research

Mathematics is an endless landscape of ideas waiting to be explored.

While many of the resources on this site focus on teaching and learning, another part of the journey happens behind the scenes: research. From time to time, I work on deeper mathematical questions and longer-form investigations that go beyond a single lesson or video.

This page is where those explorations live.

Here you’ll find research papers, working manuscripts, and published work as they appear on platforms such as Zenodo. Each paper represents a step in an ongoing mathematical adventure - an attempt to look a little further, ask a few new questions, and follow where the ideas lead.

Some of these projects grow out of curiosity. Others emerge from long-standing mathematical puzzles. All of them share the same spirit that drives the rest of Mister Marx Math Adventures: curiosity, persistence, and a love of discovery.

If you enjoy exploring the deeper side of mathematics, feel free to browse the papers below.

You might just find the start of your next mathematical adventure.
